DEVINE, LOIS - Mrs. Lois DeVine of Hillsdale, passed away on August 29, 2007 at the age of 87, she was the daughter of the late George and Verna (Baxter) Adair and the wife of the late Hugh John Devine who passed away in 1975. Lois is survived by four sons, John of Saint John, Walter (Patricia) of Hillsdale, Bernard (Joan) of Sussex Corner, Douglas (Diane) of Jeffries Corner; two sisters, Doris Payne of Hillsdale, Daisy McKinney of Hampton; two brothers, Otty Adair (Hattie) of Smith Creek, Hartley Adair (Betty) of Niagara Falls, Ontario; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Lois is predeceased by her son, Robert; and by her grandson, Michael. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 10:00 am. The interment will take place at Saddleback Cemetery.
