
WARREN EVERETT VAIL
VAIL, WARREN EVERETT - Peacefully at Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews NB on August 30, 2007, Mr. Warren Everett Vail, beloved husband of Enid Mae (Wentworth) Vail of St. George NB. Born in St. Stephen NB on July 22, 1929, he was a son of the late Everett and Edna Mae (Toal) Vail. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Warren is survived by his wife; Enid, one son; Everett "Teddy" (Judy) Vail of St. George, three daughters; Susan, Mrs. William Frye of St. Stephen, Diane, Mrs. Joseph Majtenyi of St. Catharines ON and Laura-Anne Morehouse (Neil) of Oak Bay NB, 13 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two sisters; Barbara (Robert) Boone of St. Stephen and Dorothy, Mrs. Sheldon Keddy of Brockway NB, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother Philip, one grandson, Julian, and two great grandsons. Prior to his retirement, Warren was a self employed labourer and had worked for a few years at Security for the Canadian Corp. of Commissioners. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Korean War from 1950 until 1962 as an Instrument Technician. He was a gifted handyman, and enjoyed working with small motors. Warren was also an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 40 in St. George. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB from where the service will be held in the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Grant Alcorn officiating, followed by interment at the Union Cemetery in Brockway. Visiting at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The St. George Legion Branch # 40 will hold a tribute service at the funeral home on Saturday at 7 pm. In Warren's memory, donations to the Shriner's Hospital for Children or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
