ELLIOTT, PAUL (1938 - 2007) - Paul Elliott of Wapske, NB passed away by accident near his home on September 9, 2007. Born in Wapske, NB on October 26, 1938, he was the son of the late Karl and Irene (Mockler) Elliott. He leaves behind his wife, Doris Elliott; his children, Greg Elliott of Plaster Rock, Paula (Dwayne) Tompkins of Wapske; his sisters, Minnie (Murray) Paris of Tilley, Uta (Winfred) Hanscom of Aroostook, Hope Piers of Fredericton; brothers, William (Jennifer) and Garald, both of Plaster Rock, Richard (Geraldine) of Lower Kintore, Chester and Arthur (Kaye), both of British Columbia; grandchildren, Whitney Tompkins, Courtney Tompkins and Christopher Elliott. Paul was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Ronald and Ivan Elliott, and his sister Dorothy Pryor. Paul was known as a hard worker and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed many outdoor activities such as four-wheeling and fishing. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends. Resting at Tobique Chapel with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 11 am from the chapel. Rev. Fred Hanson officiating. Interment will be in the Plaster Rock Community Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the NB Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
