SLIPP, EDNA MAY (DUPLISEA) - Edna May (Duplisea) Slipp of Central Blissville, born September 24, 1918, peacefully passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital to her eternal rest on September 14, 2007, at the age of 88. Edna is survived by three daughters, Ruth Burtt (George) and Donna Slipp of Central Blissville, Wendy Harris (Matt) of Fredericton Junction; three sons, Ronald Slipp (Janie) of Hoyt, Harold Slipp (Sharon) and Duane Slipp (Sherri) of Fredericton Junction; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a niece and a nephew. Edna loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed her time picking berries and working in her gardens. She was very community minded, belonging to several groups of the Blissville United Baptist Church as well as many community organizations. She was a home maker to her husband and children. She was predeceased by her husband, Luther Slipp, and parents, Hattie (Bell) and Hartley Duplisea, as well as her brother, Erwin Duplisea. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be from the Blissville United Baptist Church on Monday, September 17, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Blissville Cemetery.
