MACDONALD, JOHN A. (JACK) - On Sunday, October, 7, 2007, Jack passed away in Montreal, Quebec. Born November 24, 1928; formally of 110 Winter Street; was the son of the late John A. and Mary (Buckley) MacDonald. Jack served as a merchant marine, spent 25 years with the Army and retired as manager of Wayside Detox House in St. Catherines, Ontario. Jack is survived by grandsons: Todd, Andrew and Patrick MacDonald, also brothers: Bob (Lois), Fred (Becky) and sisters: Anne Rodgers, Blanche Clayton, Sheila Mahar, Margot Vey, Edna McCutcheon and Kathy Mahoney along with many nieces and nephews. Jack was pre-deceased by brothers: Freddie, Jimmy and Teddy; and sister Marion. There will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 1:00pm at Fernhill Cemetary.
