NOFTELL, DONALD JOSEPH - passed away on November 26th, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Saint John N.B. on July 26th, 1935 to the late Garfield and Annie (Monteith) Noftell. Don is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra (Vautour); son, Dana (Leanne) of St. Martins; daughter, Tracey (John) Roberts of Hampton; brothers, James of Willow Grove, Robin of Black River and Garfield (Bud) of Sussex; sisters, June LeBlanc of Salisbury and Patsy Dupuis of Sackville; five grandchildren, Katrina, Sarah, Joseph, Samantha and Dustin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by a sister, Audrey (Tootie). Don was very proud of and loved his five grandchildren dearly. He was also an avid sportsman who loved to fish, hunt and trap. He belonged to the Ontario Trappers Association and the Hudson Bay Corp. Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424). The family will receive visitors 2 hours before the Memorial service which will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 30th, 2007 from the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel".
