HAWKES, M. MADELEINE- (1914-2007) Hawkes, M. Madeleine of Woodstock, New Brunswick passed away on Monday, November 26, 2007 at the Tobique Valley Hospital, Plaster Rock, New Brunswick. A daughter of the late Ellen Pauline Wheeler and Harry Mortimer Belyea. She was born at Woodstock, NB on June 19, 1914. After graduating from Woodstock High School in 1931 she completed her studies as an x-ray technician at Royal Victoria Hospital in 1931. She was the manager of Simpson's Order Office in Woodstock, NB for 16 years. Mrs. Hawkes was predeceased by her first husband, Colonel E. Raban Vince, and her second husband, Joseph H. Hawkes. She is survived by her sister, Noreen Adair of Maine and Florida; several nieces and nephews and her step-children, Ronald J. Hawkes and Myrna Athey, both of Fredericton. At her request there will be no viewing or public funeral.
