TRANTON, FLORENCE MABEL - Mrs. Florence Mabel Tranton of Arnold Ave. Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 4, 2007 at the age of 95. Born in Sutton-on-the Forest, York, England, on November 27, 1912, she was the daughter of the late George A. Pettinger and Blanche A. (Allenby) Pettinger and the wife of the late Ralph T. Tranton who passed away in 2004. Florence was a member of Trinity Anglican Church and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Florence is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Fred, Charles and George Pettinger; and four sisters, Ethel Patterson, Emma Frederickson, Lucy West and by her infant sister Gladys. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Celebration of Florence's life will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Friday, December 7, 2007 at 11:00 am with The Venerable David Barrett officiating. The interment will take place at Kirk Hill Cemetery in the spring.
