GOMMER, MICHAEL JAMES - The death of Michael James Gommer, loving husband of Sandra (Loucks) Gommer occurred on Wednesday December 5, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1945 in Halifax, NS he was the son of the late John and Ruby Gommer. Besides his loving wife Sandra he is survived by one son, John Gommer (Lena) of Saint John; three daughters, Tina Campbell (Brian) of Drayton Valley, AB, Debra Warner (James) of Fredericton and Leisa Gommer of Moncton; four step-sons, Wayne Wood (Leah) of Oshawa, ON, David Wood of Toronto, ON, Douglas Wood of Calgary, AB, and Kevin Wood of Grand Bay-Westfield; two step-daughters, Kathy Lindsay (Bill) of Saint John and Donna Flaglor (Dwayne) of Sussex; sister, Pat Dempsey (Ed) of Morden, NS; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Paul, Cody, Mark, Craig, Patrick, Justin, Crystal, Cassandra, Melissa, Douglas, Billy-Joe, Aidan, Mattie and Jamie Lynn and one great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents Michael was predeceased by his first wife, Treva (Saunders) Gommer, son, Michael, brothers, Jack, Eric and Albert and one sister Ruby. He will be greatly missed and always remembered by his family and friends. By Michael's request there will be no visitations. Following cremation a memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Saturday December 8, 2007 at 11:00 am.
