MCMULLIN, ROY FREDERICK - age 68, of Mount Vernon, died Dec. 25, 2007. He was born in Fairfield, Maine on Oct. 30, 1939, raised in New Brunswick, Canada. He served in the U. S. Navy, and was a resident of Mount Vernon for 37 years. Roy was a businessman in Bellingham, Oak Harbor, and Mount Vernon for 29 years, much of that time with Northern Sales. Roy is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Jeff (Susan) McMullin, Brian (Jane) McMullin, Tracie (Ron) Day, Todd Cochran, Thad (Danielle) Cochran; grandchildren, Brad Benson, and Jasmine, Ryan, and Paul McMullin, and numerous nieces and nephews in Eastern Canada and New England. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, Habitat For Humanity, or The Burlington Lions Club. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 S. 18th St., Mount Vernon, WA. Arrangements are under the care of Hawthorne Funeral Home and Crematory, Mount Vernon, WA.
