CAMPBELL, KATHLEEN (KAY) EDNA - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on January 11, 2008, Miss Kathleen Edna Campbell passed away following a period of failing health. Born in Pocologan NB on July 24th, 1924 she was a daughter of the late Edward and Stella (Dixon) Campbell. A loving sister and aunt she is survived by one sister, Marion Boyd of Pennfield NB; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Burpee, Edward and Walter; and nine sisters, Minnie, Edna, Ethel, Mildred, Annie, Eva, Mabel, Hazel and Stella. Kay was a lifelong resident of Pocologan and worked for various employers including Shaw & Ellis Clam Factory and Connor's Bros. She will be best remembered as being a fabulous cook. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB from where the service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Grant Alcorn officiating. The interment will be held at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the spring. Visiting at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
