FOUNTAIN, HARRIET LORD (ADAMS) - Unexpectedly at her residence in Lord's Cove, Deer Island, NB, on January 15th, 2008, Mrs. Harriet Lord (Adams) Fountain, wife of the late Randolf Fountain. Born in Lord's Cove, NB, on December 3rd, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Jennie (Lord) Fountain. A loving aunt, great aunt and friend she is survived by one nephew, Dale (Vera) Waycott of Lord's Cove; two great nieces, Patty (Sheldon) Conley and Kelly (Brian) Barteau both of Lord's Cove; one great nephew, Jeffrey (Loretta) Waycott of Saint John, NB; three great great nephews, Jessie Barteau, Tyler and Ian Conley; two great nieces, Brooke and Courtney Waycott; one great great great niece, Abigail Waycott. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her son, Allison Fountain and one sister, Mary Waycott. Harriet was a school teacher for many years on Deer Island and also served as Post Mistress in Lord's Cove. She was an avid gardener who loved the birds. She was a member of the Lord's Cove Church of Christ where she was also an organist for many years. Resting at the Lord's Cove Church of Christ from where the service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Murray Spencer officiating. The interment will take place following the service at the Mount Hope Cemetery on Deer Island. Visiting at the church will take place on Friday from 7 to 9 pm. In Harriet's memory, donations to the Lord's Cove Church of Christ or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
