BURTON ROBERT FLEWELLING
FLEWELLING, BURTON ROBERT - The death of Burton Robert Flewelling of Kingston, husband of the late Marie (Wetmore) Flewelling, occurred January 14th, 2008 at the Ridgewood Veterans Wing. He was born in Peirston, son of the late Frederick and Pearl (Burgess) Flewelling. Burton was a shop teacher and contractor. He was a veteran of WWII serving overseas with the Royal Canadian Engineers. He is survived by five daughters, Ann Marie Flewelling (Greg MacNaull), Ottawa, Norma Mercer (Jim), Kingston, Marion Smith, Kingston, Connie Morehouse, Kingston, and Heather Reuvekamp (Ron), Norton; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Lena Flewelling, Fredericton, brothers-in-law, Russell Bond, Codys, and Leman Parker, Grand Manan, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Marion O'Hare, Roberta Parker and Leola Bond, two brothers, Ernest and Alvin Flewelling; and two grandsons, Nicholas Sarmatzis and Jason MacGregor. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 7 to 9 pm Wednesday and 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Thursday. The funeral will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, at Reid's Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Shaw officiating. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
