BOURQUE, ELOID EDMOND - Mr. Eloid Edmond Bourque, husband of Aurore Bourque of 1504 Water Street, Miramichi, passed away Friday morning, at his late residence, at the age of 75. Born in Lincoln, NB, he was the son of the late Anthony Bourque and Claudia (Maillet) Bourque. He was a maintenance supervisor for Norboard Mill and a member of St Michael's Basilica, Miramichi. He will be sadly missed by his wife, the former Aurore Thebeau; his mother, Claudia of Lincoln; one daughter, Monique Clark (Paul) of Miramichi; six sons, Danny Bourque (Angela) of Moncton, Donald Bourque (Shirley) of St. John, Michael Bourque (Joan) of Fredericton, Maurice Bourque (Susan), Timmy Bourque (Debbie) and Terry Bourque (Shelley) all of Miramichi. Three brothers, Claude Bourque (Harriet), Eric J. Bourque (Debbie) and Mark Bourque, all of Lincoln. Four sisters, Estella Cullinan (John), Bertha Mazerolle (Murray), Mary Anne Bourque (Ottawa) and Nancy Michaud (Paul); sixteen grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Aurelie Girouard; two brothers, Eric C. Bourque, and Thomas Bourque; and his father, Anthony Bourque. Mr. Eloid Edmond Bourque will be resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi, with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. He will then be transferred to Bishops' Funeral Home, Fredericton, with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 23, at 12 noon from St Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Lincoln, with Father Monte Peters officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery in the spring. At the request of the family donations to Extra Mural Program, Palliative Care Unit of Miramichi Regional hospital, or a memorial of ones choice would be appreciated.
