BURR, RONALD KENNETH - Passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at home. Born in Saint John, on May 28, 1952, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Viola (McPhee) Burr. Ron worked for Fundy Bay Holdings for the past 10 years, was a past executive and active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69. Ron had a great love for his family, friends, his dog Tia, cats Alpine and Angel. He loved to cook, barbeque and shop, always having a freezer full of food and ready to feed anybody in need. Besides his family, he will be greatly missed by friends, Peter, Ron and Ed. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Brenda (Cobham); daughters, Jennifer (Jason) LaForte, Tracy (Billy) Connors, Rhonda (Andy) Mohammed, all of West Palm Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Andrew, Gianna and Maddison; brother, Teddy (Karen), Saint John; sisters, Jeanette Dunn, Saint John, Rose Graves, Saint John, and Trixie Buckley, England; brother-in-law, Art (Cindy) Cobham, Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle Funeral Homes, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave. (634-1701). Visitation will take place on Monday, January 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 29, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with a Legion Service at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Fallsview Chapel. Burial to follow in Cedar Hill Extension.
