CROTHERS, ASHLEY CONRAD - Ashley Conrad of Gore Rd., Huntingdon, Quebec passed away on January 25, 2008 at the Huntingdon Hospital after a valiant fight with cancer. Born on November 18, 1932, he was the son of the late Morton and Ina (Northrup) Crothers. He is survived by his companion, Pam Thwaites; his daughter, Melody (Ian) Gilmore of London, Ont.; two sons, Dean of London, Ont. and Brian (Michelle) of Toronto; three grandchildren, Rachel and Riley Gilmore and Matthew Crothers; his sister, Marie Turner of Ottawa; his sister-in-law, Lorna Crothers of Sussex; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by his brother, Morton and his brother-in-law, Brock Turner. The funeral service will be held from Kelly's Funeral Home, Huntingdon on Saturday, February 2, 2008 and 2:00pm. A memorial service will be held in Sussex at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Hospice (Sussex) or to a memorial of the donor's choice.
