MCCLUNE, FRANK - The death of Frank McClune, loving husband of Eleanor (Logie) McClune, occurred on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1934 in Glasgow, Scotland he was the son of the late Alex and Susan (Shannon) McClune. Frank worked as an Engineer for the Federal Government for 29 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Westfield Golf and Country Club and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Besides his devoted wife of 42 years, Eleanor, he is survived by son, Stuart (Natalie) McClune of Rothesay; daughters, Alison (Bill) McDonald of Prospect, NS and Katrina (Tom) Heatherinton of Grand Bay-Westfield; brothers, Gerrard (Anna) and Vincent McClune both of Scotland; nine grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Matthew, Sarah, Catherine, Aimee, Christian, Addison and Kyle; several cousins, nieces and nephews. By request there will not be visitations. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at the Westfield United Church on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 10:00 am.
