RAE, MARION CONSTANCE - The death of Marion Constance Rae of Saint John, NB, wife of Charles Rae, occurred on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the Hospital in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Born in Saint John on November 30, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Watson) Hayes. Marion had been employed as a sales clerk at Simonds Co-op for several years. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all who knew her. Survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles; a son, Stephen Rae of Saint John; two daughters, Jane Rae (Jim Hanley) of Saint John and Beverly (Hedley) Pearson of Fort McMurray; four grandchildren, Jaime Pearson (Shawn Trites), Shawna Pearson (Steve Anderson), Stevie Rae and Haylee Rae; one great-grandson, Jagger Trites. Predeceased by two brothers, Fran and Al and two sisters, Joan and Shirley. Marion was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Glen View United Church, 8 Uplands Rd., Saint John on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 1 pm. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
