BEYEA, MAUREEN ANNE - The death of Maureen Anne Beyea loving wife of Bryce H. Beyea of Saint John, occurred on Thursday January 31st, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. Born on March 8th, 1947 in St. John's NFLD, she was the daughter of the late William and Sara Ring. Besides her husband, she is survived by son, Stuart Bryce and daughter, Catherine Elizabeth both of Saint John, her brother, Dr. William Ring of Brockville Ontario; four sisters, Carol (David) Hagen, Catherine Ring of Ottawa, Andrea (Gavin) Toumache of St. Stephen and Joanne (Bill) Vaughn of Saint John, several nieces; nephews; sister in-law, Carol Graves of Quispamsis; best friend, Marilyn Nice of Saint John. Maureen worked for the Bank of Nova Scotia in Fredericton before she moved to Saint John and was very involved in her family business. She was Extremely devoted to her family. Maureen had a passion for gardening and gourmet cooking, she enjoyed skiing, curling and devoting her time to volunteer work including delivering meals with meals on wheels. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John NB. (646-2424.) In keeping with Maureen's wishes there will be no visitations or funeral service, however a private graveside service will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens in the spring to celebrate Maureen's life. The family would like to thank the staff of Kennebec Manor for the wonderful care that Maureen received. Also to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital for their compassion and assistance to our family. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Shiners Hospital for crippled children.
