O'BRIEN, LORRAINE PATRICIA - The death of Lorraine Patricia O'Brien occurred on February 1, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Douglas Allen and Marie Hazel (Beckwith) Tidd. She was a waitress having worked with Rex's Pizza and for RCL Branch #14 with special events. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, an affiliate member of the RCL Branch # 14 and loved dancing, shuffle board, camping and baking. Surviving are her sons, Joseph P. of Saint John, Douglas M. of Ontario, Sean W. of Calgary; brothers, Gary Callaghan of Letete, NB, Charles Foote Jr. of Ontario; sisters, Sharon Tarr of Ponoka, AL, Kathy Kilback of Weyburn, SK, Gail Shepherd of Ontario; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer, Clair, Stanton and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Wayne Callaghan and Sharon Dubee. At her request there is no visitation at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424). Relatives and friends may pay their respects at her residence. Following cremation the interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
