JULIA LEBLANC

LEBLANC, JULIA - Julia LeBlanc widow of the late Eugene LeBlanc passed away peacefully on January 31, 2008, surrounded by her loving family at the St. John - St. Stephen Nursing Home. Born 1914 in Beresford to the late Jean and Lorette Frenette. Julia and Eugene were married for 48 years they raised their family in Saint John spending summers in Beresford. Devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother she devoted her life to her family. A member of Stella Maris Catholic Church Julia enjoyed quilting, knitting and playing cards. She is survived by sons, Edwin LeBlanc (Rosemarie) of St. Andrews, Laurie LeBlanc (Jacinthe) of Saint John, Wayne LeBlanc (Judy) of Quispamsis; daughters, Anne Marie Terris (Jerome) of Windsor, ON, Patricia Bradley (Fred) of Saint John, Donna Davey (Michael) of Darlings Island, Theresa Parks (Terry) of Rothesay; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Julia was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents and husband, Eugene she was predeceased by brothers, Francois Frenette, Antoine Frenette, Augustin Frenette, Gerard Frenette; sisters Marianne Morrison, Del Boudreau and Jenny Green. Visitation will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. (646-2424) on Wednesday February 6th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church on Thursday February 7th, 2008 at 12:05 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations in memory of Julia can be made to the Kidney Foundation, Saint John Chapter or to the New Brunswick Lung Association.
