BELYEA, LAURENCE DOUGLAS - The death of Laurence Douglas Belyea of Apohaqui, formerly of Midland, occurred at Sussex Health Centre, on February 6th, 2008. Born at Wickham, NB on August 16th, 1917, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Zillah (MacAlpine) Belyea. He is survived by his wife Muriel (Patterson) Belyea; one brother, George and his wife Doreen of Wickham; one sister, Muriel Davis of Berwick; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three brothers, Ronald, Ernest and Ervine; three sisters, Ida Belyea, Ella DeWitt and Verna Mersereau. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visitation on Friday, from 5 to 8pm. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, February 9th, 2008, at 11am. Following cremation, interment will be in Midland Cemetery in the Spring.
