MYRTLE SHARP ELLIOTT
ELLIOTT, MYRTLE SHARP - It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a special lady. Myrtle was born in Maple Ridge, Millville on March 7, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Edward and Mabel Sharpe. She was one of twelve children. She was born in a log cabin along with her twin sister, Mildred. She was predeceased by two husbands, Kenneth Sharp and Wilford Elliott. She is survived by children; Anne Day (Alan), Robert Sharp (Kim) Kathy Lyons (Rob), Debby Elliott, Judy Power, Brenda Fillmore (David), Susan Doyle (Bernie), Cathy Rourke (Dale) , many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as two brothers, Eugene and Arnold and one sister, Willa. Myrtle Worked for 36 years at the Admiral Beatty Hotel. She was a member of the Nerepis Baptist Church; as well as a member of the Wednesday Morning Bowling League in Grand Bay; was an avid cribbage player and spent the last twenty or more summers at T & T Campground, Cole's Island enjoying her friends and activities. Resting at Cavanagh's Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Saturday, February 9, 2008 from 2 to 4 P.M. & 7 to 9 P.M. The Service will be held on Sunday, February 10 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel followed by cremation and burial in the spring at Mount Hope Cemetery, (Westfield). Reception. at the Funeral Home.
