DUNLOP, WATSON JOHN - Born July 7, 1927 in Saint John N.B. died Feb.15, 2008 in Windsor On. peacefully with his family by his side. Beloved son of the late Watson Robert (1941) and Catherine Angeline (1993). Loving husband to the late Phyllis Mae (nee) Cameron 1993. Loving Father to W. John Jr. (Jeannine), Brian (Dana), and daughter Katherine (Remi Renaud). Loving Grandfather of Bryce, Jared, Devon Dunlop, Jeremy, Jason Dunlop, Danielle Samson, Remi Jr., Kaitlyn, Brad, Ashley Renaud. Watson is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and will be sadly missed by brothers Ken, and Bill, sisters Amelia (Mimi), Ruth, Phyllis (Cyril Potter), Brenda (Jim Sharkey), sister in laws Margaret (Anne), Sandy Vautour (Carl) as well as family friend Kaylee, and Jackie Dunlop. Watson is predeceased by his sister Mary, brother Bob and in-laws Roy & Miriam Abbott, Doug & Lila McGeough. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren and their families. Watson was a veteran of the Korean War and proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces until 1972 when he retired with the rank of Sergeant and relocated to Windsor On. He then worked for Rossini Tile, the Commissionaires, and managed one of the Joinville apartment buildings until full retirement in 1993. Donations in memory of Mr. Dunlop can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society. As per Dads wishes cremation has taken place. A family service will be held on P.E.I. this summer where he will be reunited with his beloved Phyllis.
