It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eliza (Loydie) Elizabeth Foote announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Friday, March 14, 2008 at the age of 88 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Maxwell (Lynn) Foote of New Lowell, Ontario, Jerry Foote (Donna Law) of Burlington, Ontario, two daughters: Ruth (Ted) Lee of Stephenville, Shirley (Woodrow) Penney of Newbrook, Alberta, daughter-in-law, Tina Foote-Houston of Stephenville, two sisters: Wornetta Luscombe of St. John’s, Ruby Baker of Trinity Bay, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley James Foote, son, Wayne Foote, two step-sons, Reginald and Frank Foote, brothers, John Dinney, Cleo Dinney, Worrick Dinney, sisters, Ruth Chappell, Lucy Granter, Jessie Legge, Minnie Snow, parents, Elias and Beatrice Dinney. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, March 18th at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Hillview Avenue, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Augustine’s Church Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.
