It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Elizabeth Joan Ploughman (nee: Bennett) announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the age of 71 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her special friend Reg Lucas; children Tony (Glenda), Bev (Larry) Spence, Michelle (Randy) Chubb, Joey (Colleen Tarcon); brothers and sisters: Vera (Hollis), Mena (John), Isabel, Doreen, Jean, Chesley (Doris), Ivan (Lorrain), Teddy (Jasulin); sister-in-law Marie; grandchildren: Joshua Nash, Sarah Spence, Leanna Ploughman, Joelle Ploughman, Samantha Ploughman, Julie Spence, Brandon Ploughman, Tanner Chubb, Amy Tarcon-Ploughman as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Ploughman; parents Neil and Evelyn Bennett; brother Junior; brothers-in-law: Bill, Steve, and Eddy. The family will be receiving friends at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Flat Bay on Friday beginning at 2:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Flat Bay. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
