JONES, HARTLEY LEONARD - Hartley Leonard Jones of Quispamsis went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 12, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born December 9th, 1947 in Saint John he was the son of the late Edward Hartley and Dorcas (Jones) Jones. Hartley was a salesman for Atherton Business Machines for many years, retiring from Manu Life Insurance in 1989. He had a kidney transplant 36 years ago, from his sister Audrey. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, his faith was very important to him. Known as Papa to his four grandchildren, they were the light of his life. He is survived by his loving wife Betty Anne (Armstrong) Jones; daughters Carrie Anne McKay (Gerald) and Laura Lee Morris (Reilly) both of Quispamsis; brothers Daryl Jones (Sharon) of Saint John and Donald Jones (Debbie) of Norton; sisters Audrey Titus (John), Edith Jones, Marjorie Richard (Bob) all of Saint John; grandchildren Sydney and Charlie Grace McKay and Gabriel and Seth Morris; brother-in-law Keith Armstrong (Betty Ann) of Rothesay; mother-in-law Jean Armstrong-Hooper (Harold) of St. George; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Besides his parents he was predeceased by father-in-law Kenneth Armstrong. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Full Gospel Assembly, 34 Mount Pleasant Avenue East, on Saturday March 15, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
