BUSSIERES, GHISLAIN "BUZZ" - At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, March 13, 2008, Mr. Ghislain "Buzz" Bussieres of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 66 years. Born at Saint-Tharsicius, Quebec in 1942, he was a son of the late Rosario and Suphronie (Labreque) Bussieres. A retired Staff Sergeant with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, he was formerly the President of the North West New Brunswick Christmas Tree Growers Association. He is survived by those he referred to as his little family, Marco, Chantal, Kevin and Christine Bossé of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska; long-time friend and former co-worker, Rolland (and Lynn) Sauvageau of Drummond; his brothers and sisters, Raymond Bussieres (Marie Jeanne Claveau), Lionel Bussieres (Marie Neiges Claveau) and Emilien Bussieres (Fernande Ross) of St-Tharcisius, QC, Aline Bussieres (Marcel Brochu) of St-Leon-le-Grand, QC, Ghislaine Bussieres (Julien Roussel) of Ste-Anne-de-la-Perade, QC, Georgette Bussieres of Ste-Foy, QC, Roland Bussieres (partner Madeleine Leblond) of Rimouski, QC, Jean-Marc Bussieres (Marie Theriault) of Amqui, QC, Yvette Bussieres (Claude Bellavance) of Bic, QC; sister-in-law, Mariette Simoneau (late Roger) of St-Vianney, QC; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins, among whom is Laurent (and Francine) Jalbert of Edmundston. He was predeceased by two brothers, Guy and Roger. Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 Saint-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard with visiting hours Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. His funeral will be held Monday, March 17th at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church, with interment in the Saint-Leonard Cemetery.
