NOREEN MARIE COMEAU
COMEAU, NOREEN MARIE - Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on March 19th, 2008, Mrs. Noreen Marie (Richard) Comeau, wife of the late Dennis Alexander Comeau of Pennfield NB. Born in Richibucto-Village NB on October 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Annie Marie Richard. A loving mother, grandmother and sister-in-law, Noreen is survived by six sons, Raymond and Michael Comeau both of Pennfield, Brian (Gail) Comeau of Fort McMurray AB, John (Faith) Comeau of Sylvan Lake AB, Dale (Sherry) Comeau of Bloomfield NB and Gordon (Michelle) Comeau of St. George NB; three daughters, Faith, Susan and Carolyn Comeau all of Pennfield; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law and special friend, Gussie (Eddy) Derhak of Dover Foxcroft ME; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Noreen loved taking care of her family. She will be remembered for her famous homemade bread. Prior to retirement, Noreen was employed at Connor's Bros. for sixteen years and previous to that, the Fundy Hospital in Blacks Harbour for eleven years and for a period of time she operated her own catering business. She was a past member of the Brunswick Curling Club where she enjoyed curling and playing darts. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Stella Maris Catholic Church in Blacks Harbour on Monday at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place at the church cemetery in the spring.
