COOK, HELEN MARY - Peacefully, at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on March 23, 2008, Mrs. Helen Mary (Ganser) Cook, wife of Mr. Carroll Reginald Cook of Back Bay NB. Born in New York, NY on May 28, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Gertrude Ganser. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband, Carroll; three sons, Douglas (Marguerite) Cook of Utopia NB, Phillip (Lois) Cook and Michael (Kim) Cook both of Back Bay; one daughter, Cecelia (Pat) Dube of Saint John NB; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Helen was predeceased by one son, Daniel. Helen loved cooking and sewing and had a passion for gardening. She was a avid CB'er who handle was "Grasshopper." She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held from The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Tuesday at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating. The interment will take place at the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. Visiting at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am until noon.
