HUNTER, HILDRED ELEANOR (1912-2008) - On Saturday March 22, 2008, Hildred Eleanor Hunter, 95, of Florenceville, NB, passed away at the U.R.V.H. Waterville. Born in Glassville, Hildred was the daughter of the late Edwin & Mitilda (Brown) Welch, and wife of the late Donald Hunter. Hildred is survived by her loving sons, Gordon (Brenda) of Florenceville, NB, Lawson of Ottawa, ON, and David of Toronto, ON; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, husband, daughters, Marilyn Hunter and Barbara Estey; brothers, Edwin & Lewis Welch; and sister Clara MacPhail. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March, 25, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from Faith Memorial United Church, Burnham Rd. Florenceville, NB. Funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at 1:00 pm, Rev's Les Johnston and Elaine Strawbridge officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Florenceville Community Cemetery, Maple St. Florenceville, NB. Donation's in memory of Hildred may be made to the Faith Memorial United Church Memorial Fund or to a memorial of the donor's choice. Pallbearers will be Hildreds grandchildren, Greg, Sandy, Jared, Teddy and Timothy Hunter and Caroline Estey. There will be a reception in the Foster Fellowship Hall following the service.
