CALHOUN, CALDWELL ALVIN - Caldwell Alvin Calhoun, 84, of Wakefield, NB, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at the Carlton Manor, Woodstock, NB. Caldwell was born in Parker Ridge Boiestown, NB on August 12, 1923, son of the late Durwood and Mary (Carver) Calhoun. Caldwell is survived by his wife Mary (Craddock), Wakefield, NB; children, Ann King (Jack), Erin, ON, Calvin (Cindy), First Eel River Lake, NB, Elaine Pryor (Donald), Wakefield, NB, Gail DeLong (Allen), St. Thomas, NB, Stephen (Terri), First Eel River Lake, NB, Donald (Elizabeth), Lower Woodstock, NB, Christina Cooper (Phillip), St. John, NB, Alvin (Krista) Upper Kingsclear, NB, Albert (Edna) Lindsay, ON; 23 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters, Grace Burlock, Calgary, AB, Helen Howe, Calgary, AB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Caldwell was predeceased by brothers, Durwood, Lyman, David, Delbert, Arthur, Dean, Lewis; sisters, Hazel and Irene. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Tuesday, March 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 12 PM with Rev. Mel Norton officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
