STOCKS, GLADYS VIOLA - Miss Gladys Viola Stocks of Saint John, NB, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Saint John. Born in Saint John, she was the only child of Frank and Elsie (Cathline) Stocks. Predeceased by brothers, Stanley and Cecil Greer. Her ancestors were from England and Switzerland. Gladys was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church, Main St. Saint John and she was active in many worldwide evangelical ministries. As a Fine Arts Painter, many of her works are in Canada and United States, she taught art in her home before and after her retirement from Staff Education Department of the Saint John Regional Hospital. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 2:15 pm. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery.
