MCINTYRE, LUWELLA - The death of Luwella McIntyre, wife of the late Harold J. McIntyre occurred on Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1921 in Sault St. Marie, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Loretta (Gagnon) Prisque. Luwella was a member of the Clean Air Coalition and previously active with the NDP Party. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family. She is survived by her sons, John McIntyre (Denise) of Miramichi City and Chris McIntyre (Kathryn) of Quispamsis; grandchildren, James McIntyre, Melessa McIntyre, Michael McIntyre and Gregory McIntyre; nephews, Andrew Burgess (Esther), Phillip Burgess (Susan), Fraser Livingstone (Randy) and Byron Livingstone (Kathy). Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Muriel Livingstone and Lucille Burgess. By request there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
