REGINALD DESJARDINS

DESJARDINS, REGINALD - At the Edmundston Regional Hospital, March 30, 2008, Mr. Reginald Desjardins of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 62 years. He was married to the former Jeanelle Ouellette. Born in Drummond in 1946, he was a son of the late Gerard and Lauria (Ouellette) Desjardins. Mr. Desjardins has been a Drummond potato farmer for 42 years. He was a member of Grand Falls Council 854 of the U.C.T. Besides his wife, he is survived by his three children, Denis (Christina) and Rene (Sylvie) of Drummond and Lissa (Carlo Rioux) of Grand Falls; five grandchildren, Charles, Emily, Andrew, Elisabeth and Isabelle; his sisters and brothers, Marie-Line Bourgoin (Gilles) of Drummond, Gaetane Leclair (Rodrigue) of Charlo, Donald (Patricia) of Drummond, Aline Theriault (Aldo) of Chatham, Ontario, Diane of Moncton, Marcel (Denise) of Red Deer, Alberta, Sylvie (Dave Perry) and Louis-Marie of Edmonton, Alberta and Reine (Jean Belanger) of Charlo; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donat and Yvette Ouellette of Grand Falls; as well as several nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. His funeral will be held Wednesday, April 2nd at 4:15 p.m. from the Saint-Michel Roman Catholic Church, Drummond, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Grand Falls Regional Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
