It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Mary Stevens announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on February 5, 2008 at the age of 85 years. She will be sadly missed by three sons: Tony Perrier of Stephenville Crossing, Clayton Stevens of Stephenville and Melvin Stevens of Stephenville Crossing; three daughters: Joanne Stevens of Fort Nelson, Alice Mary Bennett of Barachois Brook and Theresa Stevens of Goulds; one sister, Delia Sullivan of St. George’s; special grandson, Michael Stevens and a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Dunphy Stevens; her sons: Alphonsus Perrier, Raymond Perrier, Robert Stevens and Adolph Stevens; daughter, Linda Stevens. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Stephenville Crossing on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, February 11th at 10:00 a.m. at the Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing.
