BESHARA, DORA ELIZABETH - The death of Dora Elizabeth Beshara of Carter's Point, wife of the late James Thomas Beshara, occurred on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born at Dalhousie, she was a daughter of the late James and Greta (Brown) Foster. Dora was Veteran of the Second World War, and was a member of many organizations, including the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 62, the Peninsula Pearls, the Friendship Fellowship group, the Quilting Guild of St. James William Hall, the Thursday Night Card Group, the Peninsula Red Hatter Group, and TOPS # NB4779, Westfield. Dora is survived by her son, Sam (Amber) Beshara of Quispamsis; three daughters, Constance (Robert) Landry of Grand Bay-Westfield, Carol Kearney (Stirling) of Saint John East, and Pinky Greer (Larry) of Grand Bay-Westfield; a brother, Donald Foster of Dalhousie; a sister, Pearl Palamater (Guy) also of Dalhousie; grandchildren Jimmy, Lorrie Anne, Justin, Pauline, Cherrie, Shelley, Stirling, Heather, Stacy, and Peter; great grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Samantha, Jesse, Timothy, Laura, Mark, Stephen, Christopher, Nathen, Kelsey, Sara, Nicholis, Adam, Ashley, Michael, Emily, Matthew, Mitchell, Kristin, Brett, Josie, and Cody; one great great granddaughter, Hailey; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and to her parents, Dora was predeceased by a brother, Pat. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 12:05 PM from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 91 Waterloo Street, Saint John. Interment will take place in the Loyalist Cemetery, Hardings Point. A Tribute to a Veteran Service will be held on Thursday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. www.brenansfh.com.
