LARSEN, SHIRLEY - Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Shirley Robertson Larsen (nee Perry) of Baxters Corner, N.B. passed away Thursday April 10, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Saint John. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 60 years, Walther Larsen; their two sons, George of Baxters Corner and John of Vero Beach, Florida; a granddaughter, Ellie Larsen; and great-granddaughter, Kirsten Larsen, both of Vero Beach. Shirley enjoyed using her excellent cooking skills for her family and friends. She had a lively sense of humour. She loved her family, her dog Sammy, horses, gardening and all the beauties of nature around their ranch. The family would like to express sincere thanks for the thoughtful care by Sherry Gionet R.N. and the rest of the staff at St. Josephs GEM unit. There will be a small gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life at a later date.
