SOMMERVILLE, RONALD M. - The death of Ronald M. Sommerville, 101, of Barnesville, occurred April 14, 2008 at Dr. V.A. Snow Centre, Hampton. He was born in Saint John, son of the late George and Ella (Magowan) Sommerville. Ronald farmed for many years and also was employed with the Department of Transportation for eleven years before retiring in 1972. He is survived by two daughters, Isabel Bradley (Ansley), Barnesville, Marilyn Peacock (Rufus), Dartmouth, NS; one son, Bill Sommerville (Marilyn), Barnesville; one step daughter, Barbara Kelly (Joseph), Hampton; one step-son, Douglas Hall (Sandy), Norton; 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mildred (Duncan) Sommerville and his second wife, Dorothy (Titus) (Hall) Sommerville, one sister, Beatrice Howes and one brother, Ernest Sommerville. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 7 to 9pm, Wednesday. The funeral will be held Thursday, 11:00 am at Reid's Funeral Home Chapel.
