ARTHUR JOSEPH "A.J." McCORMICK
McCORMICK, ARTHUR JOSEPH "A.J." - 80 years, who passed away Monday, April 7th, 2008 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Born in Saint John, N.B., he moved to Sudbury in 1945. "A.J." worked with CPCN Telecommunications for 44 years, retiring in 1987. He is a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 76, Sudbury and a Third Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus. "A.J."s Favourite place in the world was his camp on Fairbanks Lake. He had a great sense of humour, loved to reminisce and made friends everywhere. "A.J." did not measure life by material success, but rather by way of sharing love with family and friends. He was a very rich man. Beloved husband of 59 years, of Rita (Piquette) McCormick of Sudbury. Loving father of Cathy, Jim, Anne and Beth. Cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren. Dear son of Jim and Ellen McCormick all predeceased. Dear brother of Ralph (wife Bernice predeceased) of Saint John, N.B., predeceased by Eleanor (husband Jack MacKinnon) and John. A Memorial Mass and Cremation took place in Ontario.
