TONNER, MRS. DARIS TERESA (nee PARSONS) - of Woodstock Ontario passed away on April 16, 2008 at the Woodstock General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Hanna Tonner (2002); Dear mother of Bruce and his wife, Diana of Vernon, B.C., Barry and his wife, Rebecca of Milton, Jim and his wife, Nancy, Kevin, Mark, Jeff, all of Woodstock Ont, David and his wife, Julie of Vancouver, B.C; Much loved grandmother of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; Dear sister of Zita Ferro of Burlington, Vermont, Olive Dawson of Whites Lake, Nova Scotia, Marjorie Pitre of Moncton, New Brunswick. Predeceased by her parents, Mary and Sam Parsons of Saint John; son, Robert (1987); sister, Maureen Grandy and brothers, Robert and Donal Parsons. Viewing was at the Longworth Funeral Home, Woodstock, Ont. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Woodstock, Ont. on Saturday April 19, 2008. Interment was at St. Mary's Cemetery. Daris grew up in Saint John NB and graduated from St. Vincent's High School and studied art at Saint John Vocational School. Daris and Bill were married in Saint John in 1939. The family moved to Woodstock Ont. in 1956.
