KENNY, WINNIFRED MARIE (1911 - 2008) - Winnifred (Winnie) Marie Kenny, passed away at York Manor Nursing Home on May 1st, 2008 at the age of 96. Born in Priceville, NB, in 1911, the daughter of the late Hartley and Susan (Beek) Price. She is survived by one son, Robert Kenny (Joan) of Fredericton; three granddaughters, Mary Ellen Kenny (Fred Headon) of Montreal, PQ, Natalie Kenny (Tim Richardson) and Brigette Kenny of Fredericton; one great-granddaughter, Ellen Richardson; one great-grandson, William Headon. Also survived by sisters, Mildred Clowater (Sanford) of New Bandon, NB, Leola Smith of Calgary, AB, Doris Woodworth of Fredericton and Flora Rice of Saint John, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Winnifred was predeceased by her husband, Irvine Kenny; one son, Donald Kenny; brothers, Stanley, Joseph and Henry Price; sisters, Jesse Charters, Louise Maston, Juanita Fletcher and Margaret Munn. Winnifred devoted her life to her family, friends, her church and community volunteer work. She touched the lives of all who knew her by her gracious, kind and spiritual nature. Although there will be no visitation by request, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 5th at 7 pm from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Crockett Street, Marysville, NB with Father Monte Peters as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Anthony's Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
