GALLOP, DOROTHY - 1923 - 2008 Dorothy Gallop of Weaver passed away at Tobique Valley Manor on May 8, 2008. Born in Maple View, NB, on July 20, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Gertrude (Flanders) Crone. Dorothy leaves behind her daughter, Patricia Corey of Weaver; her sons, Jim (Susan) Corey of Hartland, David Corey of Weaver, Donald Corey of Edmundston, John Corey of Weaver; grandchildren, Pamela Corey, Dustin Corey, Beth McCready, Tasha Briggs, Michael Corey, Christopher Corey; great grandchildren, Darren and Emily McCready. She was predeceased by her first husband, B. Milton Corey; her second husband, Delbert E. Gallop; her grandson, Brian Corey; sisters, Helen Currie, Muriel Adams, Annie Longmoore; her brother, Jack Crone. Dorothy taught school in the Plaster Rock area for 16 years. Resting at the Tobique Chapel in Plaster Rock with visitation on Friday 7 to 9 pm and on Saturday 1 to 2 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 2 pm from the chapel. Rev. Ellen Flemming officiating. Interment in Linton Corner Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Linton Corner Cemetery or to St. Andrews United Church would be appreciated by the family.
