GOWER, MARIE "NORA" SUZANNE - The death of Marie "Nora" Suzanne Gower, wife of the late King Kerr Gower, occurred on Wednesday May 14, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. Born 1918 in Cocagne, Kent County, NB she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Lea (Robichaud) Bourgeois. Nora loved spending time with her family, traveling and spending winters in Florida for 27 years. She is survived by her son Peter Gower (Patty) of Venice, Florida; daughters Linda Lawrence (Gary) of Venice, Florida, Ann Marie Fleming (Larry) of Erb's Cove, Marilyn Titus (Blair) of Bellisle and Elaine Ferguson (Carl) of Grand Bay-Westfield; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters Rita Hynes and Theresa Cormier both of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers Emery Bourgeois, Fred Bourgeois and sister Helen Richard. By request there will be no visitations. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church on Tuesday May 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
