GABRIEL, DIANE (WALKER) - The death of Diane (Walker) Gabriel, loving wife of John Gabriel occurred on Saturday May 17, 2008 at The Saint John Regional Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Born September 8, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Irene (Hughes) Walker. Besides her husband John, Diane is survived by two sisters-in-law Christina Gabriel-Henderson and Linda Stewart as well as one special niece Cherry Gabriel-Tobias. A memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) on Tuesday May 20, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
