GOODINE, HALEY CLAIR - Perth-Andover - Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Haley C. Goodine, 89, passed away on May 19th, 2008 peacefully at home in Perth-Andover, NB. Haley was born in Tilley, NB on November 20, 1918 to Herman and Edna (Plant) Goodine. He married Carolyn D. Wright on November 14, 1956. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Daniel (Wanda) Goodine, Gerald Goodine, Ruth (Lorne) Amos and Kenneth (Patty) Goodine all of Fredericton; grandchildren, Rachel (Matt) van Raalte, Emily, Brittany and Jordan Goodine, Kiersten and Katrina Amos, Bhreagh, Jacob, Julian and Jonah Goodine; sisters, Marie Parody, Phyllis Milton, Leila Argue, Betty (William) Stairs, Maxine (Bobby) McAllister and Marietta (John) Inman; one brother, Graydon (Marie) Goodine; sister-in-laws, Hazel, Mary, and Velma Goodine; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Clayton, Murchie, Glazier, Gilbert, Donald Goodine; sisters, Eska Tompkins and Louise Goodine. Haley was a member of Calvary Tabernacle, Perth-Andover. He was self-employed as a woods worker for many years and operated heavy equipment in forestry until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping and all aspects of outdoor life. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Calvary Tabernacle. Funeral service is to be held Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 2:00 pm from Calvary Tabernacle. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Perth-Andover, NB. Donations in memory of Haley can be made to the Northeast Christian College (Fredericton) or Chalmers Hospital Foundation.
