MCEACHREON, BERNETTA - The death of Mary Bernetta McEachreon, of Nelson, NB, occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the age of 92. Born in Nelson, NB, Bernetta was the daughter of the late Everette and Mary (Ahern) McEachreon. Bernetta attended St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Nelson, NB, worked at the Telegraph Journal in Saint John for 32 years until her retirement. She was very active and involved with various church groups both in Miramichi and Saint John. Bernetta is survived by one brother, Hubert McEachreon of Nelson, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Bernetta is predeceased by two brothers, Mark and John. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Nelson on Thursday at 11 AM with Father Jim McQuade officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Nelson. In Bernetta's memory, donations may be made to St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Memorial Fund.
