DUPLISEA, DAVID ERNEST - David Ernest Duplisea of Fredericton Junction passed away at his home on May 25, 2008 at the age of 80. Born in Central Blissville, January 9, 1928. David is survived by his wife, Joan (Smith) Duplisea; four daughters, Linda (Peter) Gates, Saint John, Alice (Real) Deschenes, Upper Tracy, Carol (Roland) Johnston, Tracyville, Faye Duplisea (Terry Surette), Saint John; sisters-in-law, Janet Duplisea, Joanne Duplisea, Alice (Larry) Tracy; six grand-childern, Tom (Caroline) Deschenes, David (Andrea) Deschenes, James Johnston, John Real Deschenes (friend Nicole), Sarah Johnston (friend Jake), and Aaron Gates (friend Amanda); great-grandson, Tylar Deschenes and his mother, Crystal Hicks. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. David was employed as a welder for 40 years with CP Railroad, a member of St. Andrews Anglican Church and the Gladstone-Blissville Seniors Club. David is predeceased by his parents, Amelia (Knorr) and Frank Earl Duplisea; one sister, Geraldine Burnett; three brothers, Lloyd, twin brother Doug, and Murray. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home for visitation Wednesday May 28, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. David's Funeral will be from St Andrews Anglican Church, Fredericton Junction on May 29 at 11am with Bishop George Lemon officiating. Interment to follow in the Gladstone Cemetery. Because of allergies, the family request there be no real flowers sent to the funeral home.
