CHIPMAN, MARGARET C. - The death of Margaret Chipman of 14 King Square South, Saint John, NB, wife of the late John Chipman, occurred on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, on July 6, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Annie (Brown) Gibson. Margaret was employed with the Treasury Office, Military District # 7, and later with the Veterans Land Administration until retirement in 1981. She was a member of Centenary-Queen Square United Church. Survived by her niece, Elizabeth (Gordon) MacVicar of Saint John; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by two brothers, John (Jock) and H. Graham Gibson; and one niece, Dianne Sutherland. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery.
