CHAPMAN, BRUCE DAVID - of Quispamsis, husband of Shelia (Laity) Chapman, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Chatham, New Brunswick, he was a son of Idella Burgher (Bezanson) and the late Paul Howard Chapman. Bruce was employed with NBTel for many years, and also with Xwave. He greatly enjoyed the sport of soccer, and was supportive of the Fundy Soccer Association. In addition to his wife and to his mother, Bruce is survived by a son, David Chapman of Fredericton; a daughter, Elizabeth (Beth) Chapman of Quispamsis; brothers, Brian Chapman (Judy) of Quispamsis and Barry Chapman of Peterborough, Ontario; sisters, Brenda Conrad (Reg) of Scotsburn, NS, and Beverley Chapman of Halifax, NS; his special Aunt, Dorothy Sutherland of Virgil, Ontario; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
